As part of his musical pathway, Joseph achieved Trinity College London Rock & Pop Drums Grade 6 with Distinction, marking an important milestone in his technical and musical development. His progress through structured study helped build the confidence, control, stylistic awareness, and consistency that support a serious young musician over time.

Today, Joseph is active as a drummer in Aquatic Ape Theory, a Brighton-based indie band with released music and a visible public profile across streaming and performance platforms. Public release credits for the band identify Joe Clarke as the drummer on tracks including Melody I Dreamt and Days Go By, showing a clear progression from student development into real creative and performance work.

His story is a strong example of how music education can go far beyond exams alone. With the right guidance, structured preparation, and real commitment, students can grow into confident, creative musicians who carry their skills into live performance, recording, and collaborative band settings.
